DIET

Why diet is so important

As a beginner, if you don't posses nutritional knowledge, then gaining enough nutritional information will be very important to seeing results in yourself. Improving a poor diet will rapidly help in fat loss and gaining muscle.

If you have been skipping meals and only having 2 to 3 meals on a regular day to day basis, upping the frequency of your meals to 5 to 6 will help rapidly transform your physique.

Instead of having 2 to 3 big meals a day, by having 5 to 6 smaller meals throughout the day, this will keep you feeling fuller and less likely to snack on high sugar foods such as biscuits and chocolate.  By eating 5 to 6 smaller meals, this will speed up your metabolism and as a result of this you will burn more calories, throughout the day.

If your diet is low in protein, by adding high protein content food, such as chicken, fish or eggs within each meal will help improve your diet and keep you feeling fuller for longer. Carbohydrates are also an essential part of any diet and should not be neglected. Carbohydrates provides you with energy and are found in foods such as, fruits, vegetables, rice and dairy products. Your body uses these foods to create glucose which is your body's main energy source. Fats also provides your body with energy, but most importantly, Fats help absorb vitamins through your bloodstream and into your body. Fats also provides insulation for body temperature regulation.

These are the main components of a healthy diet.

It will not matter how much effort you are putting in the gym or the type of training programme you're on, it will all be in vain if you don't provide yourself with the right nutrition.
